Domestic Violence Services Provided in WV in 2023

Licensed domestic violence programs are a vital resource, providing free and confidential assistance to victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children. Domestic violence services are available in every county in our state, making a way to find freedom-from-violence for all West Virginians.

WV DV services provide advocacy for domestic violence survivors in court for protective orders, divorce, and custody; practical needs to make a safe home (such as food boxes or household items); survivor assistance to find a job and permanent housing; advocacy crisis counseling; help safely navigating the abuser’s criminal case; safety planning… and much, much more!
