Our Impact
Licensed domestic violence programs are a vital resource, providing confidential assistance to victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children. Domestic violence services are available in every county in our state, making a way to find freedom-from-violence for all West Virginians.
Every person deserves to be safe in their homes. Below, see the impact that victim services made last year in WV, then access data from other years.

We make West Virginia Communities Safer
Domestic Violence victim services provide advocacy for domestic violence survivors in court for protective orders; for practical needs to make a safe home (such as food boxes or household items); for survivor assistance to find jobs and permanent housing they can afford; for help planning how to safely exit the abusive relationship; and more.
