Specific services may vary from one community provider to another, but most programs offer core services including legal advocacy, individual safety planning, safe shelter, a 24-hour emergency hotline, peer support counseling, support groups, and services for children. Other support services may also be available such as help in obtaining medical care; legal protection; providing housing, furniture, or clothing; training and educational services; employment assistance; social services; emergency transportation; and translation services.
