WV Capitol Rotunda
The West Virginia State Capitol Rotunda, designed by Cass Gilbert, features a stunning gold-leafed dome towering 292 feet high. Its centerpiece is a 4,000-pound Czechoslovakian crystal chandelier. On either side of the rotunda inside the building are the state house and state senate chambers. This central area is often used for tabling events during the legislative session.
